YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a Maintenance Manager who will work closely with their team to coordinate preventative maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, equipment, and machinery. They will be responsible for developing and mentoring their team and ensuring that our clients receive an impeccable service while adhering to company standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To lead and complete hotel projects, such as work, inspections, repairs and maintenance, while ensuring adherence to preventive maintenance program timelines.
  • Determine the needs in terms of repair/service contracts.
  • Maintain and update the documents necessary for the proper monitoring of department operations and respond quickly to technical and practical emergencies for internal and external clients.
  • Provide training and supervise the department team to ensure that maintenance and upkeep work meets chain standards while controlling reliance on external services.
  • Supervise schedules, working hours and control the department's budget, manage supply orders and participate in budget planning in collaboration with the
    general management.

    REQUIREMENTS

  • A diploma in maintenance is an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in computer tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). (An asset)
  • Bilingualism. Strong written and oral communication skills. (An asset)
  • Experience in a technical service department in the hotel industry (An asset)
