YOUR ROLE
As Housekeeping Director, you lead the housekeeping team with rigor and compassion to ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction, while ensuring optimal operational performance. The Housekeeping Director is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising all activities of the housekeeping department.
He or she ensures compliance with quality, cleanliness, and safety standards while ensuring efficient management of human, material, and financial resources of the department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise, mentor, and support the Assistant Housekeeper in the daily management of their team
- Act as mentor and leader for the housekeeping team.
- Develop schedules and ensure effective coverage according to operational needs
- Coordinate and maintain cleanliness standards in rooms, public areas, and facilities
- Manage product inventories, cleaning logistics, and equipment
- Ensure ongoing training of teams and new employees
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards
- Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure cross-departmental synergy
- Control costs, manage budgets, and propose improvements to optimize efficiency
- Perform any other tasks necessary for the proper functioning of your department.

REQUIREMENTS
