The events coordinator oversees the planning, organization and execution of events, in collaboration with the sales and banquets team.

• Process, qualify, confirm and coordinate group and banquet requests (events, room rentals, room blocks).
• Serve as lead catcher for group requests.
• Coordinate confirmed groups by the sales manager, from contract signature until group departure (rooms, food, accommodations, etc.).
• Write and distribute banquet event orders (BEO).
• Collaborate with operational teams to plan needs and ensure that all departments receive necessary information (food and beverage, front desk, housekeeping...).
• Provide personalized service to clients before, during and after the event.

• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail, team spirit and dynamism.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a demanding environment.

• Diploma of collegial studies in the field of hospitality (an asset).
• Ability to use advanced functions of computer systems (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Delphi, Fosse: an asset).
• Bilingualism.
