YOUR ROLE
Under the supervision of the maintenance director, the maintenance technician ensures the proper functioning, preventive maintenance and safety of the hotel's facilities. The person in this position works closely with the various departments to provide a safe, functional environment that complies with the company's quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance work according to established schedules
• Carry out various repairs related to the building, equipment and hotel facilities
• Conduct regular inspections to detect any anomalies or failures
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure the smooth running of daily activities
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests from various departments and customers
• Ensure building safety and act as first responder in emergency situations
• Banquet room setup
• Keep technical spaces and equipment clean, safe and functional
• Comply with occupational health and safety standards and company standards
• Perform any other tasks related to the position

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in building maintenance or related field (an asset)
• Experience in hospitality (an asset)
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar position
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, painting and building maintenance
• Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment safely
• Good knowledge of English and French, both spoken and written.
