Reporting to the General Manager, the Human Resources Manager plays a central role in the organization and evolution of HR practices. The incumbent contributes to structuring, developing, and implementing HR initiatives, while ensuring an engaging, consistent, and aligned employee experience that reflects the organization's values.
He/She actively contributes to building a high-performing, human and engaged work environment by anticipating the organization's needs and supporting managers in their human resources challenges.
Job responsibilities:
- Ensure the complete management of the staffing cycle, from the analysis of applications to the interview, selection and hiring of candidates;
- Manage the employee lifecycle after hiring, act as a point of contact for HR needs, manage absences and sick leave, and conduct exit interviews;
- Develop and deploy recruitment strategies adapted to the market and the organization's needs;
- Supporting managers in workforce planning and needs identification;
- Ensure the complete management of the payroll cycle, including annual reports and declarations, as well as the management of group insurance, employee benefits and the monitoring of leave and sick leave banks;
- Ensure rigorous and structured monitoring of the new employee integration process;
- Monitor the training plan in collaboration with managers and ensure its compliance;
- Ensure at all times that the chain's training requirements are met and that mandatory and corporate training is completed;
- Collaborating with managers to develop employee skills;
- To actively monitor the employee experience on a daily basis, including monitoring the work climate, analyzing employee surveys and collaborating with managers in order to maintain a healthy, motivating and high-performing work environment;
- Plan, implement, and monitor recognition initiatives aimed at valuing employees and supporting their engagement.
- To manage and plan the health and safety committee, ensure the implementation and adherence to prevention programs, monitor workplace accident files, and promote a health and safety culture within the organization.
- Ensure the implementation, optimization and use of HR systems, improve administrative and operational processes and ensure rigorous monitoring of HR indicators and organizational data
- Operational support for department heads.
Skills & Qualities:
- A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in human resources, including payroll responsibilities, ideally in a hotel environment, is required.
- University education in human resources, industrial relations, administration or a related field, or any equivalent combination of education and relevant experience required.
- Inspiring leadership, a human-centered approach and excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong team spirit and the ability to create a climate of trust
- Autonomy, rigor and organizational skills, combined with dynamism, proactivity and the ability to positively influence and foster team cohesion
- Knowledge and application of labour standards and basic health and safety principles.
