Summary Description
The candidate will be responsible for developing hotel sales and coordinating client banquet events. Working with the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will strive to maximize occupancy and average occupancy rates.

Responsibilities

• Process, qualify, confirm and coordinate requests from groups and banquets (events, room rentals, room groups).
• Coordinate groups with meetings (rooms, food, bedrooms, etc.).
• Drafting and distributing purchase orders (BEO).
• Offering a personalized service for clients before, during and after the event.
• Develops business opportunities;
• Submit monthly reports on the status of group and banquet sales;
• Participates in local activities, employee and customer-related events;
• Participates in weekly sales meetings, training sessions and other meetings required by the sales manager;
• Perform any other task deemed compatible with his/her function, when required by the manager.

Skills and Requirements

• Ability to use advanced functions of a computer system (customer tracking, inventory control, forecasting tools, etc.);
• Creative personality with a focus on results and customer service;
• Sense of organization, attention to detail and rigor in monitoring files;
• Excellent bilingual communication skills
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience;
• College diploma in the field of hospitality (An asset).
