Job Description
We are looking for a housekeeping staff member who wants to provide a warm service to our guests while respecting our hotel's standards and norms.
Reporting to the Housekeeper, the incumbent is responsible for performing housekeeping tasks to ensure the comfort of our guests and to offer them a clean and healthy environment on a daily basis, in accordance with the policies and procedures of our establishment.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- To offer courteous and professional service, being proactive and oriented towards the needs of guests.
- Ensure the cleanliness of common areas and floors.
- Transport and distribute, using trolleys, products to the floors for the room attendants (towels, sheets, etc.).
- Clean and maintain the carpets in the corridors, the windows and the furniture in the lobby and entrance hall of the hotel.
- Assist with housekeeping, including laundry, twice a week, or help clean rooms as needed.
- Take out the garbage as needed.
- All other tasks related to the housekeeping department including: cleaning public bathrooms including those in the restaurant, cleaning meeting rooms.
- Adhere to the hotel's policies, procedures and service standards.
Requirements
- Availability to work a variable schedule (weekdays, weekends and holidays)
- To be particularly responsible, reliable, resourceful and to have an eye for detail.
- Possess the physical capabilities to perform the required tasks.
- Ability to work in a team and share information effectively.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
