Role and mission
Reporting to the Front Desk Manager , the Assistant Front Desk Manager plays a key role in the day-to-day management of front desk operations. She supports management in supervising the teams, ensures adherence to Marriott standards, and contributes to delivering an exceptional guest experience while ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.
Responsibilities: Operational Supervision
Ensuring the smooth daily operation of reception and customer experience
Supporting management in the day-to-day operations of both hotels
Responding quickly to operational situations or customer complaints
Ensure compliance with Marriott procedures, standards and policies
Conduct inspection rounds and ensure service quality. Team management. Assist in the supervision and coordination of the reception teams
Participate in the training and integration of new employees
Communicating priorities, instructions, and objectives to the teams
To foster a positive and collaborative work environment
Acting as a resource person for employees during shifts. Customer experience and service quality. Ensure that we offer personalized service that meets Marriott standards.
Managing customer situations and supporting teams in problem-solving
Analyze customer feedback and contribute to the continuous improvement of the service
Collaborating closely with other departments (accommodation, housekeeping, sales, food and beverage) Providing administrative and organizational support Participate in scheduling according to operational needs.
To monitor certain administrative tasks related to reception operations
Maintain strict control over keys, billing, and security procedures
Contribute to monitoring the department's performance indicators. Desired Profile: Education and Experience Degree in hotel management, tourism, administration or related field (An asset)
Knowledge of hotel systems (PMS, reservation systems) Professional experience Experience in reception or supervision within the hotel industry
Experience in a high-volume environment (an asset)
Experience within an international hotel chain (an asset) Skills and qualifications Positive leadership and on-the-ground presence
Excellent organizational skills and sense of priorities
Strong customer service orientation
Excellent command of French and English , both spoken and written.
