Role and Mission
We are looking for an organized, rigorous, and passionate Reservations Agent in the hotel industry. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the successful candidate plays a key role in managing reservations and works closely with the Revenue Manager to ensure optimal management of inventory and rates. They also provide administrative support to the sales, front desk, and revenue management teams, while contributing to operational efficiency and guest experience.

The ideal candidate stands out for their organizational sense, ability to manage multiple priorities, and attention to detail. They enjoy working with data, hotel systems, and different departments to contribute to revenue optimization and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process individual and group reservations.
  • Manage group rooming lists and ensure follow-up on necessary information.
  • Manage room inventory and rates across various distribution channels, including OTAs, GDS, and direct booking platforms.
  • Oversee the reservation process to ensure accuracy of rates, availability, and applicable conditions.
  • Handle special requests, modifications, and reservation adjustments.
  • Generate and share revenue and reservation reports on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Monitor the performance of various distribution channels and identify trends or discrepancies.
  • Make rate and inventory adjustments according to established strategies.
  • Ensure accuracy and updating of information in reservation and revenue management systems.
  • Maintain and optimize systems and tools related to reservations and revenue, in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Collaborate with front desk, sales, and revenue management teams to ensure good information flow.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales, front desk, and revenue management teams.
  • Collaborate with different departments to ensure consistent and quality guest experience.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, partners, and various hotel stakeholders.
  • Participate in meetings and training necessary for proper operation of the hotel.


Profile Sought Education and Experience
  • College diploma in hospitality/tourism, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One year of relevant experience in a hotel environment.
  • Experience in reservations is an asset.
  • Experience in a Marriott hotel is an asset.
  • Experience with hotel systems and reservation platforms is an asset.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Have an analytical mind oriented towards numbers and data analysis.
  • Excellent organizational and priority management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and rigor in data handling.
  • Comfortable with numbers, reports, and data analysis.
  • Good proficiency with computer tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of Fosse, Delphi, or other hotel systems is an asset.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple requests simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and proactive.
  • Dynamic, flexible, and team-oriented.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • French-English bilingualism, spoken and written required
