  • Role and Mission

    Reporting to the DOSM, the Sales Manager is responsible for developing and promoting guest room and meeting room sales. Driven by a passion for results, they actively contribute to the implementation of strategies aimed at maximizing occupancy and average daily rate while strengthening the property's visibility and market appeal.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain business relationships and key partnerships in order to increase rates, volume, and revenue.
    • Develop guest room and meeting room sales, including prospecting and following up with potential clients.
    • Negotiate group rates for guest rooms and meeting rooms.
    • Conduct weekly client visits to maintain and develop business relationships.
    • Maintain up-to-date client files, prepare sales reports, and ensure rigorous performance follow-up.
    • Work closely with other hotel departments, participate in weekly meetings, and contribute to the execution of the marketing plan.
    • Maintain an active presence within the tourism and business community (chambers of commerce, competitors, convention centers) to increase the property's visibility.
    • Demonstrate availability and flexibility according to the hotel's operational and business needs.
    • Conduct weekly client visits.

    Profile Sought

    • College or university diploma in Hotel Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or any equivalent combination of education and experience (an asset).
    • Experience in a structured hotel environment, ideally within an international hotel chain.
    • Knowledge of computer tools and hotel systems, particularly Delphi.
    • Two (2) years of experience in sales.
    • Ability to work in a multi-property or high-volume environment.
    • Strong business development, prospecting, and client relationship management skills.
    • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Autonomy, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and results-oriented mindset.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments and stakeholders.
    • English-French bilingualism, both oral and written.
    • Availability and flexibility according to the hotel's needs.
    • Must have a vehicle.
