YOUR ROLE

Under the supervision of the reception manager, the night auditor ensures the continuity of front desk reception during the night and ensures the quality of service provided to guests. They play a key role in the daily closing of the hotel management software.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Classify business transactions conducted during the day;
• Verify and correct the recording of transactions and update the notes of hotel guests;
• Balance accounts and close cash registers;
• Produce the daily revenue report;
• Answer the telephone and route incoming calls;
• Process reservations;
• Handle guest complaints;
• Perform front desk attendant tasks during the night;
• Ensure transition with the morning team by providing a night briefing;
• Communicate any guest requests to the reception staff during the morning shift;
• All other related tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant experience in a front desk attendant position.
• Strong and balanced interpersonal skills and attitudes, particularly in communication.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• High sense of responsibility, initiative, and autonomy as well as attention to detail.
• Bilingualism in French and English (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of hotel management software (PEP, an asset).
