As a night auditor, you are responsible for ensuring the continuity of operations during the night while ensuring the accuracy of the day's financial transactions.
You play a key role both operationally and administratively, providing professional service to guests while shutting down systems and preparing reports.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Classify and verify the day's business transactions
- Correct discrepancies, adjust accounts, and update customer files
- Balance the cash registers and perform the daily closing procedures.
- Produce revenue and audit reports overnight
- Welcoming late arrivals and handling early departures
- Answering calls and taking reservations
- Manage requests and handle complaints professionally
- Perform reception duties during the night shift
- Prepare and send a full report to the morning team
- Communicating customer requests effectively to the daytime teams
- Perform any other related tasks associated with the position.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in hotel reception (night auditing is an asset)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage priorities
- Rigour, autonomy and a keen eye for detail
- Comfortable with computer systems and financial operations
- Bilingualism in French and English (spoken and written) required
- Knowledge of FOSSE software (an asset)

Your Role – Night AuditorAs a Night Auditor , you are responsible for ensuring the continuity of hotel operations during the night while maintaining the accuracy and integrity of daily financial transactions.
You play a key role both operationally and administratively, delivering professional guest service while completing system closures and preparing daily reports.
Key Responsibilities- Review and verify daily financial transactions
- Identify discrepancies, adjust accounts, and update guest records
- Balance cash and complete end-of-day closing procedures
- Prepare night audit and revenue reports
- Welcome late arrivals and process early departures
- Answer calls and handle reservations
- Address guest requests and resolve concerns professionally
- Perform front desk duties during the night shift
- Prepare and communicate a detailed handover to the morning team
- Relay guest requests and operational updates to day teams
- Perform any other related duties as required
- Previous experience in hotel front desk operations (night audit experience is an asset)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities
- High level of accuracy, autonomy, and attention to detail
- Comfortable with computer systems and financial operations
- Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written) required
- Knowledge of FOSSE (an asset)
