Job Description

We are looking for a housekeeping attendant who wishes to provide warm service to our clientele while respecting the standards and norms of our hotel.

Reporting to the Housekeeper, the incumbent's function is to perform housekeeping maintenance tasks in order to ensure the comfort of our guests and to offer them daily a clean and healthy environment according to the policies and procedures of our establishment.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Provide courteous and professional service, being proactive and guest-needs oriented.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of rooms.
  • Tasks include but are not limited to: changing linens, vacuuming, dusting furniture, cleaning bathrooms, mirrors, dressers, making beds.
  • Report necessary repairs to the Housekeeper.
  • All other tasks related to the housekeeping department.
  • Respect the hotel's policies, procedures and service standards.

Requirements

  • Availability to work under a variable schedule (weekdays, weekends and holidays)
  • Be particularly responsible, reliable, resourceful and have an eye for detail.
  • Possess the physical capacity to perform the requested tasks.
  • Ability to work as a team and share information effectively.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Working Conditions

  • Salary: Starting at $20.48/hour
  • Work schedule: Saturday and Sunday
  • Employment type: Part-time, Permanent
  • Expected start date: As soon as possible
