YOUR ROLE
The receptionist accompanies the customer from arrival to departure. They ensure that they provide high-level customer service at all times, in accordance with the chain and brand standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and register customers upon arrival and handle their departure efficiently and professionally.
- To make, modify or cancel reservations and to inform guests of hotel policies.
- Transmit information regarding room status, VIPs, Marriott Bonvoy members, priorities, early or extended check-outs and all other customer requests to other departments.
- Verify and adjust charges applied to customer accounts, while being responsible for cash transactions.
PROFILE SOUGHT
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Sense of initiative, attention to detail and autonomy.
- Ability to work under pressure, to solve problems and to work with computer systems.
- Hospitality experience (an asset). No hospitality experience? We offer training.
