We are currently looking for a part-time front desk agent

Under the supervision of the Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for providing impeccable customer service while respecting the standards of the chain and the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests, register their arrivals and manage their departures in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Handle reservations for stays
  • Answer telephone calls
  • Ensure communication with the housekeeping department regarding room status, VIP guests, priorities, as well as early departures or extended stays.
  • Convey important information to the team, supervisor and manager, both verbally and in writing in the logbook.
  • Answer guest questions about hotel services and surrounding areas, and assist them with reservations if necessary.
  • At least one year of experience in a customer service position (experience at a hotel front desk is a plus).
  • Professional diploma in hospitality (a college diploma will be an asset).
  • Proficiency in French and English (knowledge of a third language is an asset).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other associates as well as with clients.
  • Strong customer service orientation and great attention to detail.
  • Dynamism, team spirit and good priority management.
  • Autonomy and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to solve problems.
  • Availability to work at different times of the day (day, evening, weekends, nights) — this position may involve night shifts depending on the company's needs.
