As the leader of the Renaissance Montreal Hotel, you embody the hotel's vision and ambition. You oversee the overall management of the property, placing revenue growth, the brand's lifestyle positioning, and the excellence of the guest experience at the heart of your priorities. A true entrepreneur, you skillfully guide commercial, marketing, and operational strategies to maximize profitability and enhance the hotel's reputation. Through your leadership, you orchestrate operations with rigor and creativity, while mobilizing and inspiring your teams to deliver a distinctive experience.

Operations
You ensure the smooth and exemplary execution of daily operations:
  • Ensuring operational excellence across all departments
  • Be present on-site and ensure regular inspections of the hotel
  • Follow quality trends and implement concrete actions
  • Maintain Marriott and Urgo Hotels Canada standards
  • Supervise audits (including food audits)
  • Optimize scheduling management in balance with financial objectives and customer experience

Sales & Marketing
You actively contribute to sales performance:
  • Developing and ensuring the execution of sales strategies
  • Managing revenue strategies on a daily basis
  • Mobilizing teams around sales objectives and opportunities

Financial performance
You are responsible for the financial health of the institution:
  • Plan and manage operating and investment budgets
  • Communicate financial objectives clearly to the teams
  • Ensuring sound management of cash flow

Leadership & Talent Development
You create an environment where teams thrive:
  • Recruiting, developing and inspiring talent
  • Supporting managers in their development
  • Implement effective communication practices
  • To foster a culture of collaboration, commitment and service excellence

Partner relations & community
You represent the hotel professionally:

Desired profile
  • Proven experience in the hotel industry, ideally within well-known chains.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years in a management role
  • A motivating, inspiring, and results-oriented leader
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bilingualism (French and English, spoken and written)
  • University degree in administration or hotel management
  • Good command of hotel systems and tools
