Summary Description

We are looking for people who love their city and want to create a memorable and personalized experience for each of our guests. From the moment our guests step into the Hotel Humaniti Montreal, our team will take over and be responsible for the entire guest experience.
Our Montreal artisans will work closely with the reception team to provide impeccable service that reflects our DNA: sophisticated, engaging, and connected. At Hotel Humaniti Montreal, we seek people who are passionate about people and who will deliver an experience that embodies our wellness concept to our guests.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Greet and register guests upon arrival and handle their departure efficiently and professionally. (Including mobile check-in/check-out)
  • Assign rooms appropriately (rates, special requests, etc.).
  • Make, modify or cancel reservations and note special requests.
  • To offer personalized suggestions on the various attractions and experiences available in Montreal.
  • Answering incoming internal and external calls.
  • Redirect calls according to customer needs.
  • Answer customer questions and take action. (Handle requests in GXP)
  • Answering customer questions via chat, email, etc.
  • Make courtesy calls.
  • Charge the mini bar.
  • Take the deposits.
  • Take care of the water dispenser and coffee machine.
  • Handling calls, placing orders and delivering room service, and collecting trays.
  • Deliver gifts to guest rooms.
  • Check the rooms upon departure to ensure the guest has left
  • Ensure at all times an impeccable presentation of reception areas, back office and common areas.
  • Adopt a proactive attitude in managing customer concerns/difficulties.
  • To offer a service that exceeds our clients' expectations and to convey this quality of service to the entire team.
  • To ensure a smooth flow of service across the different departments of the hotel.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Skills and Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage priorities and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to work under pressure and know how to manage stress.
  • Proactivity, initiative and autonomy.
  • (3) years of experience in high-end customer service.
  • Bilingualism (French and English, a requirement due to an international clientele).
  • Available day, evening, weekend.
  • Experience with Marriott chain hotels is an asset.
