We are currently looking for a full-time maintenance director.


YOUR ROLE
We are looking for a maintenance director who will work closely with their team to coordinate preventive maintenance of rooms, public spaces, equipment and machinery. They will ensure the development and supervision of their team. They will ensure that our clients receive an impeccable product while respecting company standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct and carry out hotel projects, such as work, inspections, repairs and maintenance, while ensuring compliance with preventive maintenance program schedules.
  • Determine needs regarding repair/service contracts.
  • Maintain and update documents necessary for proper monitoring of department operations and respond quickly to technical and practical emergencies for internal and external clients.
  • Ensure training and supervise the department team to guarantee that maintenance and upkeep work complies with chain standards while managing reliance on external services.
  • Supervise schedules, working hours and control the department budget, manage supply orders and participate in budget planning in collaboration with senior management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma in maintenance, an asset
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency with computer tools (Word, Excel, Outlook..) an asset.
  • Bilingualism. Written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in a technical service in hospitality an asset.
