The candidate will be responsible for maximizing room revenue for a portfolio of hotels. In collaboration with the Regional Vice-President of Revenue, this person will support local teams involved in revenue management by establishing positioning and performance strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures monitoring of inventories, prices, and restrictions in the medium and long term
  • Support for opportunity assessments (displacement analysis)
  • Establishes revenue maximization strategies
  • Leads and orchestrates revenue meetings;
  • Ensures the effectiveness of customer market segments;
  • Produces and analyzes reports on a weekly and monthly basis;
  • Maintains and improves market positioning;
  • Deploys initiatives and changes made by the brands;
  • In collaboration with the E-Commerce Director, plans promotional campaigns (MEOs, Flash Sales, Bonus Points according to periods of need.
  • Controls parity between internal sales systems versus other sales channels;
  • Support for group and individual market projections.
  • Occasional support to hotels for technical questions on systems. (Marsha, One Yield, MRDW, GRO, etc.)
  • Trains new employees on platforms;


REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

  • Possess a strong analytical mindset;
  • Knowledge of revenue systems and programs (Marriott or Hilton)
  • Ability to communicate with all hierarchical levels;
  • Bilingualism (spoken and written)

EDUCATION | EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant college or university diploma, or any other equivalent training.
  • Experience in hospitality, an asset
  • Excellent organizational and priority management abilities.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • English/French bilingualism
